HornetQ is an open source asynchronous messaging software develloped by JBoss. HornetQ is written in java and supports the JMS 1.1 API. This message oriented middleware also defines its own messaging API for maximum performance and flexibility. Other protocols are planned for upcoming releases. This video shows how to get started with HornetQ and some of the new features of the upcoming HornetQ 2.3 which Beta 3 version was released in December.
